At Bombay Rugs we respect your privacy. If you have created an account on our store — including by signing in with Facebook — you can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you.
How to request deletion of your data
- Send an email to bombayrugs.in@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account.
- Use the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Tell us the name and email address (or Facebook account) you used on our store.
We will confirm your request within 7 working days and delete your personal data within 30 days.
If you signed in with Facebook
You can also remove our access at any time from your Facebook account: Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites → Bombay Rugs → Remove. Removing the app stops any further sharing of data. To have data we already hold deleted as well, please also email us as described above.
What gets deleted
Your account details, name, email address, phone number, saved addresses and any profile information received from Facebook (name, email and profile picture).
What we must keep
Where you have placed an order, Indian tax and accounting law requires us to retain invoice and transaction records for the statutory period. These records are kept only for legal compliance and are not used for marketing.
